The Arts Society Heritage Volunteers are teams of committed non-specialist volunteers who work under the guidance of curators and other professionals to help conserve our architectural and artistic heritage.

At Upper Thames a number of our Volunteers assist at Kelmscott Manor, the country home of William Morris. The work involves acting as room stewards and directing and guiding visitors around the building. Elsewhere, one member helps with practical work in the archive department of Historic England whilst other members can be found hard at work helping visitors at Ashdown House, Swindon Museum & Art Gallery and The Steam Museum.

If you are interested in joining our Heritage Volunteers Group please contact our Chairman.
